1. Flying Mounts
WithUpdate 4 we have added the first two permanent flying mounts intoVanguard. Griffons and wyverns are now available for players to attain.Head to Southwatch to begin the griffon quest and to Ancient PortWarehouse for the wyvern.

2. Riftway Revamp
Alsofeatured in Update 4 is a revamp to the riftway system. At level 10,once arriving at the first outpost after the newbie experience, theplayer will encounter the first riftway stone. These riftways areplaced within all similarly leveled outposts, and are availableimmediately as options for travel. In addition, there will be aquest-giver at each riftway with ‘region introduction quests', givingan overview of what content is to be found in each region as well as adelivery quest to visit a main quest giver in that region located nearthe riftway.

UI
Riftway locations are represented onthe map. When moused over they will show an outpost name, region name,and level range. If the riftway is available to the player it will showup in color, and if not then it will be grey. When an available riftwaylocation is clicked and the player has required cost, the player isteleported to that location.

Cost
Riftways will betiered and color coded by level range and each tier will have adifferent cost to travel. This will ensure that lower level playersshould always be able to afford to get to where they need to go whileat the same time not trivializing the cost for higher level players.

3. Character Optimizations / Helmets
Thesetwo updates go hand in hand, because one allows us to do the other.First, we have done a lot of optimizations to player characters. Byeliminating extra bones in the PC model faces we were able to addseveral visible helmets - which would have otherwise been interferedwith by those extra bones. The end result is less customization in thefacial area but better performance for the character models and brandnew visible helmets.

4. Overland Raid
Manyyears after being driven into hiding by his murderous brothers, FengrotFoulbreath has emerged from his slumber beneath the stagnant waters ofThelaseen.  Although diminutive compared to his brothers, Fengrot makesup for this by being twice as cruel and ill-tempered as any of theother Sons of Torsheim.  Having made a pact with Krigus, spirit ofdisease and decay, Fengrot hopes to use the spirit's power to destroyhis most hated enemy - his brother, Torkald Who Mourns.

Fengrot is an overland raid target appropriate for 18 well equipped, high level players.

5. Class Updates
Threeadventuring classes have received significant attention this update.They are the druid, dread knight and paladin. The main thing we didwith each class was, after fixing broken or underdeveloped abilities wesat down and took a look at each of the three classes and evaluatedwhere it was with our overall vision. After that, we made the necessarychanges, be it altering abilities, adjusting DPS or a variety of otherthings. For a complete list of the updates, check out the detailednotes below. 

6. Refund Points
If you've everregretted putting attribute points into a certain stat as you level up,we now have a way for you to fix that! Players can now purchase refundpoints for all non-automatically allocated attribute points from theirtrainers. The initial refund will be free, but then the price will riseprogressively each additional time refund points are purchased.

7. Veteran Rewards
VeteranRewards have been added to the /claim window. Rewards include titles,special items (such as vanity pets) and a set of furniture to placeinside your house. Veteran rewards are available for players who havehad active accounts for six months or more. Additional rewards areavailable every two months after that. Enjoy!

8. Bug Fixing / Performance
Agood deal of time this update, especially for the programmingdepartment, has been spent fixing bugs and improving performance. Interms of the bugs, we tried to target issues that fell into one of twocategories. First we obviously wanted to make sure any game breakingissues or bugs were fixed but after that we tried to focus on gettingrid of as many small, annoying bugs as possible. Usability is a bigfocus, and we want to make sure the play experience is as seamless forplayers as possible. A full list of our bug fixes and performancetweaks can be found below.

GENERAL
- Wyvern flying mount quest is now available
- Griffon mount quest is now active
- There are now no fly zones around certain areas of content.
- Helmets are now visible
- Riftways have been revamped
- Veteran Rewards are now available for those who have been around for 6 months or longer.
-All adventuring consumables now share three cooldown timers. Eachconsumable either has a 2 minute shared cooldown (for all health,energy, and endurance renewal consumables), a 5 minute shared cooldown(for all 'burst' buffs) or a 15 minute shared cooldown (for all longduration buffs).
- All 30 minute duration buffs from item clicks have had their duration reduced to 15 minutes.
- Anevka's Renewal now shares a cooldown with low cooldown crafted consumables.
- Named NPC items have had their item power increased.
- All named drop items are now BOP
- All named drop items are no longer deconstructable
- All named now spawn more often
-PVP - All fears should now stun in pvp. They will all be set to halfthe duration of your normal fear, with 30% diminishing returns and havea 25% chance to break on damage.
- Recasting mez on a target will no longer strip the previous mez. This is also true if the mez attempt is resisted.
- Refresh timers will now count down while offline.
- Quest timers will now count down while offline.
- Fix for a pet ability exploit.
-You can now right-click on a player name link in the chat window to geta context menu for that player, which allows you to do various thingslike send them a tell, ignore them, add them to friends list, and more.You can also right-click on a player in the game world to get a contextmenu for them that has the additional options that require you to beclose to them, such as inspect, invite to brotherhood, caravan, etc
-Holding down shift and left clicking on an item in your inventory whenthe market/broker window is open will paste the name of the item intothe item search field of the broker window, unless you are currentlytyping in the chat window, in which case it will paste an item linkinto the chat window as normal.
- Right-clicking on one of yourfriends in the friends list of the Social window now brings up acontext menu for that friend, allowing you to send them a tell, invitethem to a group, and more.
- NPC's that are rare spawns/bosses will display their names in all capitals so they can be distinguished from other NPC's.
- Added display option for showing the dot strength of NPC's in the 3D view (called show NPC difficulty).
- Added display option for player cloak. Now it can be hidden if desired.
- Added option to hide player helmets.
- Teleporting dockmasters have been removed from the game
- All adventuring trainers now have an XP reduction ability which will reduce XP gain to 0 when toggled on.
- You may no longer loot a raid NPC if you were not one of the 18 people engaging the NPC.
- You can no longer drain life to someone engaged in a different raid.
- You may no longer swap in equipment while casting
-Casting any spell at all will now force a dismount if you are incombat. If flying, you will be unable to cast. This also applies tobard songs.

ADVENTURING
- Bard - Lightning Kissesthe Ground - Lowered the duration of the critical vulnerability to 10seconds, but removed the # of hits portion of the duration.
- Bard -Aria of Calm Thoughts - Now increases spell accuracy and damage by 3%and spell crit chance by 2%. It no longer reduces energy costs.
-Bard - Chorale of Calm Thoughts - The name of this ability has beenchanged to Aria of Calm Thoughts and it is now a lyric component. Itscost has been lowered to 4 energy per sec., down from 10.
- Bard -Hazoc's Harmony of Haste - The name of this ability has been changed toHazoc's Hymn of Haste and it is now a chorus component. Its cost hasbeen increased to 5 energy per sec. to match other choruses.
- Bard - Fox Overtakes the Hare - The third version of this attack now has the proper critical hit bonus.
- Bard - Asilam's Disenchanting Cry now has a 25m range.
- Blood Mage - Scarring Pact no longer stacks with itself. Blood Pact no longer stacks with itself.
- Blood Mage - Added combat text feedback for blood link and scarring pact so that you know why you are taking damage.
- Blood Mage - You can no longer share a blood link, spirit link, or scarring pact with someone engaged in another raid.
- Cleric - Fixed a bug causing Strike Down not to stack with Speed of Ghalnn.
- Cleric - Speed of Ghalnn no longer incurs global recovery
-Cleric - It should no longer be possible to retain access to pathspecific abilities if you abandon that path and choose another.
- Cleric - Turning Attempts will now regenerate one at a time rather than all at once (similar to Druid Phenomena Points).
- Dread Knight - Apothic Shield now has a refresh of 10 minutes.
- Dread Knight - Changed Hatred Incarnate to increase all damage instead of just melee damage.
- Dread Knight - If you are using a one-handed Arazmus weapon, you may trade it in for a two-handed Arazmus.
- Dread Knight - Bane is now instant cast, down from 4 seconds.
- Dread Knight - Bleak Foeman is now usable only with a 2 handed weapon equipped.
-Dread Knight - Black Wind is now a cone melee attack. It deals meleedamage plus damage and adds hate. This ability can only be used with a2 handed weapon.
- Dread Knight - Devour Strength now drains dexterity instead of Vitality.
- Dread Knight - Increased the damage on Torture
- Dread Knight - Increased the damage on Incantation of Hate.
- Dread Knight - Lowered the duration on Incantation of hate to 24 seconds.
- Dread Knight - Lowered overall energy costs
- Dread Knight - Removed the increased endurance costs on the Ebon Blade combat form.
- Dread Knight - Ominous Fate no longer triggers global recovery
- Dread Knight - Ominous Fate I-III now stun for 2, 3, 4 seconds respectively

-Dread Knight - Your forms no longer grow in power as your DreadfulCountenance increases. They start off at the old max numbers. This doesnot affect Dreadful Countenance.
- Dread Knight - You now haveWeapon Shield while wielding a two handed weapon in defensive form.This ability is innate and gives you block chance that increases overlevels.
- Dread Knight - Added new ability line Hex of Ill Omen at level 18. Upgrades every 10 levels.
- Dread Knight - Added new ability line Hex of Impending Doom at level 28. Upgrades every 10 levels.
-Dread Knight - Symbol of Suffering has been changed to Anthamine'sCharge. This ability is no longer a Symbol and is only usable with a 2handed weapon.
- Dread Knight - Increased damage on Anthamine's Charge.
- Dread Knight - Lowered the cast time on Abyssal Chains to 1 second.
- Druid - Soothe I is now available at level. You will start with this ability.
- Druid - Rampant Roots now costs 3 PP.
- Druid - Treeshape can now be cancelled.
- Druid - Increased damage on Star Mantle.
- Druid - Added new ability Wolfshape to trainers at level 8. This ability gives you the appearance of a wolf.
-Druid - Added new finishing ability, Summon Magma Elemental at level26. It upgrades every 10 levels. This elemental will take an availableelemental slot, but will be much stronger than the Earth Elemental.
- Druid - Hierophant's Boon now has a refresh of 15 minutes.
- Druid - Hierophant's Boon has been moved to level 10.
- Druid - Stormcaller's Fury now procs off of spell casts as well as melee attacks.
- Druid - Increased the energy cost of Piercing Roots
- Druid - Increased the hit points, damage and hit rating of your summoned earth elementals
-Druid - Taproot now stops the player from moving while it is active. Ifyou are moving while casting, it will root you in place, but will notbreak.
- Druid - Taproot no longer breaks when you cast spells.
- Druid - Roseberries have had their heal increased in power.
- Druid - Seer's Intensity now increases run speed by 60%
- Druid - Seer's Intensity no longer shape shifts you into a wolf.
- Druid - Seer's Intensity now increases intelligence and spell haste

-Druid - Summon Ancient Colossus is now Nature's Tempest. Nature'sTempest is a 15 second buff that lowers all spell costs to 0 andincreases damage by 15%. It also summons 2 elementals to fight for youfor 3 minutes.
- Druid - Therianthropy lowers the energy andendurance cost of all abilities for all defensive targets within 25mfor 10 seconds.
- Druid - Renamed Wolf Pack to Therianthropy.
- Druid - Removed Wolf Pack II
- Druid - Added new spell line Antshape to trainers at level 14.
- Druid - Quelling Winds no longer causes NPCs who aren't in combat to aggro.
- Druid - Quelling Winds is no longer focused and pulsing.
- Druid - Quelling Winds is now a targeted AE with a 25m range.
- Druid - Added new spell line Ire to trainers at level 4. This spell upgrades every 8 levels.
- Druid - Nature's Wrath no longer has a resistance debuff component.
- Druid - Updated your Earth Elemental display models. They now look like golems instead of rock turtles.
- Druid - Added new spell line Wither to trainers at level 24. This spell upgrades every 8 levels.
- Druid - Summon Earth Elemental now has a 2.5 second cast time.
-Druid - You now gain the passive ability Earth Mastery at level 6. Thisability explains how many elementals you can summon at each level.
- Druid - A summoned earth elemental now lasts for 3 minutes
- Druid - Summon Earth elemental now summons pets that can be commanded.
- Druid - Deadly Swarm now deals less damage in PVP.
- Druid - Deadly Swarm now has a 2 minute refresh
- Druid - Deadly Swarm now costs 7 Phenomena Points.
-Druid - The duration between ticks on Deadly Swarm has been lowered to2 seconds, down from 4. This makes the spell a shorter duration withthe same damage.
- Druid - Starfall has had its damage increased.
- Druid - Starfall now costs 10 Phenomena Points
- Druid - Starfall now has a 2 minutes refresh
- Druid - All berries are now soulbound
- Druid - Added new ability line Bountiful Harvest to trainers at level 50.
- Druid - Mottleberries, Sageberries and Roseberries are now on a 1 minute shared refresh timer.
- Druid - All versions of Sageberries now have 10 charges.
- Druid - The damage over time portion of Venomous Thorns now lasts 8 seconds instead of 16. The damage was not adjusted.

- Necromancer - Wraith Acolytes now function
- Necromancer - Lich acolytes heal at a rate of once every 4 seconds instead of once every 10 seconds.
- Necromancer - Destroyer minions now attack at range with bows!
- Necromancer - Destroyer minions look differently
- Necromancer - Zealot minions now appear differently.
- Necromancer - Increased the chance that the Zealot minion will hit its target.
-Necromancer - Skin of the Xakrin now functions differently. It willapply its buff when equipping the skin graft on your abomination. Also,this skin appears as a humanoid jackal on your abomination.
- Necromancer - Wraith necromancers now look different.
-Necromancer - Spectre's Touch has been adjusted. The following changeshave been made: now has a 2 second cast timer, 15 second refresh timer,costs health to cast, lowered energy cost, increased damage and removedthe portion that drained energy.
- Necromancer - Death Touch willnow deal a large amount of damage to your target if they are immune tothe Killing Blow portion of the ability.
- Necromancer - Enshroud now has a casting animation.
- Necromancer - Enshroud is now group targeted.
- Necromancer - Ritual of Necropotence now has a 3 second cast time and no refresh time.
- Necromancer - Ritual of Necropotence now grants a damage buff instead of granting free spells.
- Necromancer - Carrion of Corruption and Carrion of Depravation now despawn after 1 minute, up from 30 seconds.
-Necromancer - Carrion of Corruption has been renamed to Orb ofCorruption. The spell now appears as a flaming orb over the NPC corpse.
- Necromancer - Lowered the cast timer of Necropsy to 1 second.
-Necromancer - Added a line of text to the description of DespoilingBlight to indicate that the ability can only be active on one target ata time. This restriction has always been there, but it was neverindicated.
- Paladin - Champion's Might is a passive buff that isactive whenever you have a shield equiped. It is a 15% damage increaseto melee attacks.
- Paladin - Virtue will now regenerate at a rate of one point every two minutes.
- Paladin - Increased the damage of Aegis Strike slightly.
- Paladin - Increased the damage of Guardian's Assault.
-Paladin - A 12 second refresh has been placed on your combat forms.This means that once you enter a form you will be unable to switch outof that form for 12 seconds.
- Paladin - Righteous Supplication hasbeen added to trainers at level 12. This ability will restore allvirtue points and can be used every 20 minutes.
- Paladin - Blessing of Life, a new Gift of Virtue (group heal over time), has been added to trainers at level 30.
- Paladin - The damage caused by Sunburst has increased slightly.
-Paladin - Sunburst now only affects one target, costs one virtue andadds an amount of hatred in addition to the damage that it does.
- Paladin - Dictum of Valus now has a 10 second refresh and no longer incurs global cooldown.
- Paladin - Final stand now has a 10 minute refresh timer and requires a shield to use.
- Paladin - Lay on Hands now has a 2 minutes and 30 second refresh timer, down from 5 minutes.
- Paladin - Succor's refresh timer has been lowered to 5 minutes.
- Paladin - Paragon now costs 6 virtue, lasts for 2 minutes and has a 4 minute refresh time.
- Paladin - Fury of Valus now costs 6 virtue, has a 5 minute refresh and no longer incurs global recovery.
- Paladin - Zeal is now trainable at level 12.
- Paladin - Zeal now costs 3 virtue, has a 2 minute refresh, lasts for 30 seconds and no longer incurs global recovery.
- Paladin - Increased the damage of Judgment of the Bloodthirsty.
- Paladin - Increased the damage of Judgment of the Impure.
- Paladin - Increased the range of Smite to 45 meters and lowered the refresh time to 6 seconds.
-Paladin - Increased the damage added by Blood Oath and lengthened itsmax duration to 5 minutes, up from 60sec. The description has changedto better explain the duration.
- Paladin - Shield of Resolve nowreturns endurance to the whole group. The values returned haveincreased and particles have been added to make it more apparent whenthe effect goes off.
- Paladin - Shield of Solace now heals thegroup when the paladin is struck by an attack. The base value of thisheal is now displayed in the ability text as well and particles havebeen added to help identify when it is working.
- Paladin - Stroke of Conviction and Stroke of Fervor both function correctly with shield consecrations.
- Paladin - Stroke of Fervor now deals 350% weapon damage, up from 200%.
- Paladin - Stroke of Conviction now deals 300% weapon damage, up from 200%.
- Paladin - Strike of Gloriann now increases block ability ty 14% in addition to its previous effects.
- Paladin - Both Hammer and Might of Valus now deal 400% weapon damage.
- Paladin - Aura of Divine Power now grants a 6 to 12 percent increase in accuracy as levels are gained.
-Paladin - Courage has changed. A new version has been added at level 48and previous ranks have had their levels changed to make a more gradualcurve. This changes the values of the armor class portion of the buffin the mid levels. The Courage I and Superior Courage both retain theiroriginal values for armor class increase. The hit point portion of theability have been slightly increased and will now stack with all otherbuffs. The new rank of Courage is available at trainers.
- Paladin -Aura of Replenishment has changed. It now increases the power of healsby 30%, lowers energy costs by 4% and reduces casting times by 8%.These bonuses only affect the paladin. The frequency of theregeneration pulses has increased to 10 seconds, up from 5. Because ofthis, the amount returned has increased.
- Paladin - Healing Touchhas had its cast time lowered to 2.5 seconds and refresh time removed. Energy cost has increased and healing amount has been lowered.
- Paladin - Retribution - Added a new counter attack, available at level 12.
- Paladin - Rescues - It is no longer possible to gain virtue points by using rescues.
-Paladin - Contrition - Is now a shield attack that adds a small amountof hate over time to the attacker of your defensive target. It nolonger has a force target component and so it does not add the forcetarget immunity.
- Paladin - Virtue Points will now regenerate one at a time rather than all at once (similar to Druid Phenomena Points).
- Paladin - If you are using a two-handed Arazmus weapon, you may trade it in for a one-handed Arazmus.
- Ranger - Arrow/ Bolt recipes should no longer show up 10 levels before you can forage the components to make them.
- Ranger - Blade of the Equinox is now marked as a Finishing Attack instead of just a Melee Attack.
- Rogue - Drub now costs 8 endurance
-Shaman - level 15+ - Your Patrons have been removed. Please visit atrainer in Khal, Dark Horse Tracks, Halgarad, House of Fallen Leaves orMartok to do a quest and choose your new patron. (Note: All of yourpatron abilities will be removed when you login and will remain thatway until you complete the new patron quest.)
- Shaman - There is anew Patron choosing quest available that includes the option to respec- the first respec is free. Please visit a shaman trainer in one of thefollowing areas: Dark Horse Track, Khal, Halgarad, House of FallenLeaves or Martok.
- Sorcerer - Forget is now % based and has a 30 second refresh.
- Sorcerer - Nulling Ward is now a targeted AE instead of a point blank AE.
- Warrior - Bastion of Steel now has a 10 minute refresh time, down from 15.
- Warrior - If you are using a two-handed Arazmus weapon, you may trade it in for a one-handed Arazmus.

CRAFTING
- Added an "Assemble All"feature to the crafting assembly window. Once enabled it will continueassembling the recipe you selected until you run out of one or more ofthe ingredients necessary for the recipe, or until you toggle it backoff.
- All Gawrut Kern NPCs have been moved closer to the crafting area.
- Korma Rett at the Tawar Galan crafting area now offers recipe training.
- Kenta at the Tawar Galan crafting area now sells crafting equipment as well as utilities.
-Harvesting nodes yield and loot tables have been cleaned up and willnow drop resonance and focusing dusts. The types of dusts they willdrop are based on their material.
- All harvesting nodes now use atier specific labeling on their names and a consistent look regardlessof rarity. They way they spawn has not been adjusted. The new displaynames are as follows

DIPLOMACY
-Diplomacy Masks are now available! Give the facets earned by doingwrits to lapidarians in New Targonor, Ahgram, and Tanvu. You can thenuse the near-by diplomacy assembly tables to attach gems to the masks.Base masks for gem socketing and the glyptic dust needed to carve thegems are both sold by the lapidarians. See them for more details!
-Mask gems and finished masks are no longer soulbound. Mask gems aretradeable and the finished masks are now bound when equipped.
- All diplomacy containers have had their total capacity increased.
- Smelly Cat's cards can now be obtained off of civic parleys. The cat will still drop diplomacy equipment when defeated.
- Mixmaster Macken's parleys now require Academic presence.
- "Missing In Action" parleys in the Ancient Port Warehouse should now give the proper amount of prestige faction.
-Civic diplomacy now has a chance to drop additional rewards uponsuccessful completion of a parley. The rewards included are from allthree spheres.
- Diplomacy masks that include three rare gems nowgive some presence and a special Statement. The Statement can only beused when the mask is equipped.

WORLD POPULATION
- Ancient Port Warehouse - It is no longer possible to summon a boat within the port of Innovus.
- Ancient Port Warehouse - Spawnable bosses in APW now drop Hoptonian Ore.

Find her, and she may make you an offer you can't refuse.
-Hegnerian - Hegnerian now respawns every 30 minutes. As a result, a 6hour lockout timer has been added to him. Players will be locked out ofHegnerian, Euralon, Myrdicos & Raea.
- Hegnerian - Fixed an issue with the Tomes resetting too early.
- Hegnerian - The Core of Ezigoth will now drop from Hegnerian as multi-loot for those in the group that need it.
-Nusibe Necropolis - Pharaoh Harakhan the outcast can now be challengedby those brave enough to reassemble his body in Nusibe Necropolis.
-Old Targonor - The Knights of the Old Blood have returned with a singleorder from the lich king Sartok to protect the denizens of OldTargonor, for something special will be happening soon.
- Quests - Informing Ca'ial should now give the poison as described.

ITEMS
 -Hunter's League Weapon - Due to recent changes to the Paladin, theTanwen's Greatsword of Protection has been changed to a 1 handed blunt,Tanwen's Mace of Protection.
 - Cloak of the Pantheon is now unique.
- Resolved an issue with the world loot tables that was causing some items to drop much less often then desired.
- Cirel's Sanguine Mandolin now has Vitality and Hit Points instead of Health and Endurance regeneration.
- Ariezel's Horn of Rage now has additional strength and hit points instead of endurance regeneration.
- Sell value of equipable gear has been increased slightly.
- Arazmus- Regarding Dreadknights, Paladins & Warriors - Due to the revampsmade to your classes regarding weapon specializations, you will nowhave the opportunity to trade your weapon with Handler Aerco in Afritfor a weapon of your classes preference. Note: You will only be able todo this one time, and will not be able to choose the weapon you aretrading in.

CODING
- Reactions are still draggable,but only if the reaction is not available. If the reaction is available(no refresh time remaining, sufficient resources, and the target inrange), then reactions activate on the down-click.  This change is toensure that players do not accidentally drag reactions that they areattempting to activate.
- Reactions should now work properlywith AE's.  Previously, reactions did not always correctly triggerchains if there were multiple targets being hit
- Reaction timeremaining only appears as a green bar if the reaction is actuallyavailable. Otherwise it is color-coded to allow the player to easilyidentify why it is unavailable.
Color Hierarchy:
1. Target out of range: light brown
2. Not enough resources: crimson
3. Refresh time remaining: dark gray
4. Usable: bright green
-Getting a new crit or a new block/parry, while the reaction timeremaining is counting down from a previous crit or block/parry, resetsthe corresponding reaction time remaining to full. However, if theplayer is on the 2nd or later step of a chain, that one remains at theprevious time remaining, but all of the other chains now becomeavailable with a full reaction time remaining bar.
- Fixed bug wheresome classes (i.e. warrior) would have their chains cancel with alittle over two seconds remaining on the reaction timer.
- Fixed bugwhere reactions were not being updated correctly in ability book and onhotkey bar. They now only show up as available when they are availablein the reaction window.
- Changing targets or killing a target now cancels all chains and counters.
-Fixed bug where chains would sometimes not immediately reset to theopener (i.e. when missing on a later step in the chain or killing thetarget on a later step in the chain). They should now always reset tothe opener.
- Fixed counterspells so that they now show up in theability and hotkey bar as available immediately. Previously, theydidn't become available in those places until they became available forthe first time in the reaction window.
- Fixed bug where changingcombat forms made chains become unavailable.  Active chains now remainavailable when a player changes combat forms
- Implemented/reactionchain, /reactioncounter, and /reactionrescue.  These calls arefollowed by an integer that specifies which chain, counter, or rescueslot to activate.  So "/reactionchain 2" activates whichever reactionhappens to be in chain slot 2.  All of the possible slots havecorresponding Key Bindings as well (reactionchain[01-10],/reactioncounter[01-05], and /reactionrescue[01-05]), which areassociated with Aliases[114] through Aliases[133] , with no defaultbinding, allowing the player to easily set up hotkeys for any chain,counter, or rescue slot that they want.
- Fixed various issues with/reactionautochain (‘G'), /reactionautocounter (‘Y'), and/reactionautorescue (‘V').  /reactionautochain uses the chain with themost steps that is available.  /reactionautocounter and/reactionautorescue use the highest level available counter/rescue.
- The /claim window is now sorted by number available, starting with those items that are unlimited.
-Change to ability book so that it now wraps around (pushing back on thefirst page goes to the last page and pushing next on the last page goesto the first page).
- Fixed some client crashes.
- Fixed some long-standing crashes related to alt-tabbing out of the game.
- Implemented functionality for "/consent group" and "/consent raid".
- Fix to simulacrum'd NPCs not staying controlled because of heal aggro.

1. Ancient Port Warehouse
TheAncient Port Warehouse is Vanguard’s premiere raiding dungeon. It is amassive underground complex with many unique encounters. Ancient PortWarehouse is intended for the high end raiders in Vanguard and willfeature end game adventuring, crafting and diplomacy content.

Inorder to gain access to the Ancient Port Warehouse, adventurers mustfirst eliminate the threat that is posed by the emergence of one of thedragon’s servants sent to scout the lands above. Kipcel the gnomestands before the Ancient Port Warehouse with his plea, answer it andaccess will be yours.

Lore
Nestled beneaththe Port of Innovus, the Ancient Port Warehouse of Thestra is a marvelof engineering and ancient crystal technology. A brilliant gnomeinventor, Professor Hopton, designed and built the Warehouse for theCartheon Empire over a thousand years ago. The warehouse was thoughtdestroyed in the cataclysm, and its vast sum of treasures lost.
Withthe arrival of the undead Cartheon legions on Thestran soil, thewarehouse has been rediscovered. The Cartheon senator, Demetrius, seeksa relic of unimaginable power he knows to be hidden within: The ArgentCoil. Should this powerful relic fall into Cartheon hands, it is only amatter of time before the kingdoms of Thestra are crushed. Only a bandof worthy heroes can hope to stop Demetrius before it is too late. TheCartheons, however, are not the only dangers lurking within.
Thewarehouse itself is protected by an army of colossal metal guardiansgone haywire. Adventurers will also need to contend with the sinisterProfessor Vercel and his Metalheads, gnome warriors equipped with thelatest crystal powered armor suits. Fortunately, some respite can befound with the benevolent Children of Hopton, who stand opposed toVercel and are engaged with him in a bloody civil war.
If theheroes are to win the race for The Argent Coil then they will have toally with the Children of Hopton and stand against Professor Vercel andSenator Demetrius. Only then can they repair the warehouse’s coreprocessor and acquire Professor Hopton’s lost treasure – the only knownprotection against the breath of the mighty dragon, Kotasoth. Kotasoth,the present keeper of The Argent Coil, is a plague ridden andmalevolent beast that has grown powerful through centuries of sleep,and feasting on those foolish enough to tread into the lowest depths ofthe warehouse. It is only through Kotasoth’s defeat that the The ArgentCoil can be recovered and its threat to the free races of Teloneliminated.

2. Overland Raids
Tocomplement Ancient Port Warehouse, we have also added two overland(i.e. not in a dungeon) raid encounters. Jagund Wavebreaker and thePrime Warden of Nusibe. These are for high end adventuring players.

Jagund Wavebreaker
Location
: Oceanwatch
Lore:
Foralmost a thousand years, Jagund, the Wavebreaker, has ruled thenorthern sea of Thestra.  No ship has passed without his allowance, andall have either paid their dues, or been offered as sacrifice to thedepths.  Deadly sirens hunt the northern sea with impunity, offering uptheir spoils to Jagund as tribute in return for his protection.

Inthe aftermath of the sacking of Targonor by the Cartheons, the sirensfell upon those ships foolish enough to flee into the northern sea. Dozens of ships were lulled into the rocks and sunk, their crewscarried off by the sirens while their treasures were heaped asofferings to Jagund.  Among the treasures was Vaisa’s Horn, a relic of great power.

Vaisa, the spirit of the deep waters, had long ago gifted the Horn to the Sages Arcane to protect the humans’ ships from Sihari’s wrath. Finding the Horn amongst the wreckage of a Sages Arcane ship, Jagund came to realize it was he, not Sihari, who could control the sea.

For twenty years the Horn was thought lost by the Sages Arcane, returned to the depths from whence it came.  Now, Jagund’s possession of the Hornhas come to the attention of the Sages.  The siren Licosea brings newsof Jagund’s newfound mastery over the seas, and the growing army of thedeep at his command.  Jagund must be stopped and the Horn recovered, or the tides of war will sweep all of Thestra away.

Prime Warden of Nusibe

Lore:
Inages long forgotten beneath the sands of Qalia the Tehatamani Empireflourished.  Hidden between the brutal dark elves of Stiirhad and theever-expanding Ahgramun Empire, the Tehatamani pharaohs ruled theirpeople with wisdom and compassion.  To safeguard their beloved pharaoh,the priesthood selected the most faithful and devout of their ranks tofulfill a time honored tradition of being the prime warden of theTehatamani.

The chosen ones would give themselves to the empire,offering up their life to a ritual sacrifice where their soul would beremoved from their body and placed within the stone form of the PrimeWarden.  The chosen would serve in this form until the pharaoh’s death,at which point they would accompany the pharaoh to the afterlife.

Mostnotable amongst the chosen is Soleq Su’Baht, last of the PrimeWardens.  Soleq was chosen to be Prime Warden of Pharaoh Nusibe, but inhis service he was forced to do terrible deeds.  He slaughteredNusibe’s enemies and preyed upon the Tehatamani people when Nusibe grewdispleased.  He was Nusibe’s wrath, and he was powerless to oppose hismaster’s call.  Only in Nusibe’s assassination was Soleq released fromhis servitude.

The Tehatamani, eager to never suffer such horroragain, abolished the ritual of the Prime Warden, and even abandoned thetitle of pharaoh to put Nusibe’s reign of terror behind them.  But now,with the theft of the Xakrin’s Ark of Ages, Nusibe hasreturned, and for some inexplicable reason, so too has Prime WardenSoleq.  Nusibe’s reign of terror is about to begin anew, and this time,the long knives of assassins cannot end it.


3. Raid Features & Functionality
Raidsallow players to form a group or groups of players into a larger entityto accomplish goals that would otherwise not be possible with a singlegroup.  A raid provides tools and facilitates a raid leader in managinga group of players that is usually much larger than a single group.

With this update, we have added our new raiding system to Vanguard, the details are as follows:

Raid Creation
Araid is created when the group leader converts their group into a raidby issuing a slash command, clicking on a button in the raid window, orby selecting the option from the list of group options. Raid size willbe dependant upon the encounter but may be up to 24 players in a raid.

Raid Dissolution
Araid is dissolved and becomes a normal group when there is 6 or fewerplayers in the raid and the raid leader coverts it back to a group. This can be done by issuing the same command or button press to createthe raid.

Joining / Leaving Raid
Playersare invited to the raid in the same manner that they are invited to agroup. The player invited to the raid has the option to accept or todecline the invite.

Players can leave the raid at any time by simply leaving the group.

If the raid leader leaves the raid, raid leadership is assigned to another player in the raid.

Raid Ranks
There are three pre-defined ranks that players can have in a raid.

Raid Leader
Theraid leader is essentially the group leader but is called the raidleader after the group reaches more than the max group size limit. Theraid leader invites other raid to the raid. They have the ability tochange the ranks of other players in the raid; changes loot options ofthe raid, remove people from the raid, and make another person in theraid the raid leader.

Raid Assistant
A raid assistanthas additional privileges that allow him to assist the raid leader. Theraid assistant can invite additional players to the raid, move playersaround in the raid interface, and issue raid alerts.

Raid Member
A raid member has the ability to speak in the raid chat channel.

Raid Chat
Araid chat channel is created when the number of players in the groupexceeds the single group size limit. The raid leader and raid officerchat names will be colored differently to denote their importance.Players may use /raid or /ra to type in the raid chat channel.

Raid Icons
Araid assistant and leader will have the ability to denote NPC’s orother players with icons above their heads for easy recognition by theraid.

Raid Looting
Raid looting options will be identical to group loot options and can only be modified by the raid leader.

Raid Questing
Whenin a raid, players will not be able to complete general solo or groupquests. Players in the raid will only be able to advance and completequests specifically designated as raid quests.

Raid Experience
Raids will be able to gain experience similar to normal size groups by killing NPCs. 

Raid Alert Text
Theraid leader and officers will have the ability to send alert text tomembers in the raid. This will be done through a chat slash command.(/raidalert)  This text will display in the center of the screen forall players in the raid along with an alert sound.

Raid Ready Check
Theraid leader and officers will have the ability to send a request to allplayers in the raid to see if they are ready to proceed.  Players willbe presented with a popup box presenting the request with the option ofselecting Yes or No.

Lockout System
Thelockout system prevents players from engaging an NPC if they haverecently killed that NPC and the lockout timer has not expired. 

The list of lockout timers can be seen by doing a /lockouttimerlist or clicking on the button in the raid interface.

Raid Engagement
Whena raid engages an NPC, that NPC is now owned by the raid preventing anyone else from interfering with their raid encounter.
Players outside of a raid will not be able to heal players in a raid that are engaged with a raid NPC.
Players invited to a raid after a raid NPC is engaged will not be able to assist the raid until those NPC's are killed or reset.
RaidNPC’s will have a limit on the number of players that can engage it. Raids should only be created of the size as to the limit of the numberof players the NPC can support. 


4. Khal Revamp
Khalgets a lot of foot (and ship!) traffic, and with that many peoplemoving through the same area at a time, things tend to slow down alittle bit. With that in mind, we’ve gone through and not only greatlyimproved the visual look and style of Qalia’s premiere port city butalso optimized the art assets it uses, so that in addition to lookingbetter it should perform better as well. 5. Optimizations (Character Occlusion)
Asalways, we continue to work on further optimizing the game to improveplayer performance. To that end, with this update, we are implementingcharacter occlusion. This feature will prevent a character fromprocessing any animation, skinning, or rendering in situations whereall parts of the object aren’t visible. In short, that means that ifsomething is behind a wall and you can’t see it, you won’t need to takea performance hit from it. This should boost performance significantlyin situations where there are many NPC’s and PC’s in an area that alsocontains many objects that can block out the visibility of the NPC’sand PC’s

To toggle character occlusion, simply go to the video tab in the settings menu and check the box next to “Character Occlusion”.

6. New Player Housing
Six new player housing islands are now available!

Each has their own crafting center and flying mount rental station, as well as other common player housing island facilities.

Raveosier’s Haven – Located off of Eastpoint
Bley’s Bluff – Located off of Serpantbone Coast.
Conner’s Retreat – Located off of Sundering Wastelands.
Gullo’s Grotto – Located off of Tawar Galan.
Isle of Mann – Located off of Mind’s Crown.
Lilly’s Sanctuary – Located off of Silius Flats.


7. Holiday Content
Townsand cities alike within the world of Telon are heartily preparing forthe Festival of Gloriann! Once a year during the wintery months, thetale of Atnas Claws and his spirit of giving imbue the cities with anaura of goodness. Towering trees adorned with lights can be seenglittering within the cities of Telon.

Be on the look out foran abundance of gifts and goodies! Those who have been extra nice mayfind their treats granting them something extra special!

Take a tour over the rooftops of Telon while riding on Randolph, the flying reindeer.

8. Additional Patch Notes
Vanguard Build 1933 Patch Notes 12/11/2007

GAMEPLAY
GENERAL
- Weapon and spell casting skills will now increase more frequently at all levels
- Increased the damage on all melee damage over time attacks. This should make these attacks more attractive at all levels.
- Taunts - Most abilities that add hate have been greatly increased in effectiveness.
- Guild trophy buffs should now display their effects in their tooltips.
- Guild Halls should now have a proper upkeep of 50g
- Players will no longer get dismounted due to an offensive reaction (dmg shield, counter spell, etc)
- Theurgist Bernhard is no longer associated with a faction, he should now be willing to speak with anyone who might hail him.
- Quest items now stay in your inventory when you die (similar to soulbound items)
- The amount of experience needed to gain a refund point has been reduced for adventuring
-Some housing plots have been moved or adjusted to eliminate graphicalproblems. This includes issues such as grass poking through the flooror floating steps. This should not affect any furniture or other itemsyou have placed in the house.
- Flying mount rentals have been reduced to 10 silver and time has been increased to 10 minutes
- Mem blur style abilities and charm can no longer be used to kill steal mobiles owned by some other person or group


ADVENTURING
-All Classes - All abilities that force targeting, such as rescues andabilities like Coercion, will now add an immunity to Target-Forcingthat lasts for 30 seconds. While this immunity is active the targetwill not react to any force-target ability. The secondary effects ofabilities, like Entwine, will still function normally.
- All Classes- Defensive Abilities, such as Adamant Foeman, have all been given a 30second refresh timer. Any penalties, such as hate removal, have beenremoved. Text now explains that these abilities turn off auto-attack.This includes the following ability lines:
 - Adamant Foeman
 - Devout Foeman
 - Bleak Foeman
 - Parry
 - Deter
 - Swaying Step
 - Fence
 - Dodge
- All Classes - Ranged attacks (except "Ranged Attack" and "Warden's Ranged Attack") now cost energy instead of endurance.
-Bard – A number of changes have been made to bard DoT componentprocessing.  A bard song that contains any number of damage over timecomponents will now receive the benefit of flat damage bonuses (fromany source, be it items, buffs or other song components) for the firstcomponent only rather, regardless of slot type.  If you composed a songusing a 3 chorus DoT components and 3 verse DoT components, only thefirst chorus component would receive the flat damage bonus.
- Bard – Greatly increased the damage of Assonance of Pain and Dirge of Doom.
-Bard - Chorale of Calm Thought has changed. It now decreases energycosts by 10% and increases spell damage and accuracy by 2%. It is nolonger modified by instrument mod and the effects of the song componentare no longer cumulative when used more than once in a song.
- Bard - Lightning Kisses the Ground's crit vulnerability effect now lasts a maximum of 10 spell hits.
- Bard - Briel's Segue of the Sky is now Briel's Trill of the Clouds, It is now available at level 20.
- Bard - Briel's Aria of the Clouds has been removed from the game.
-Bard - it is no longer possible to make songs with levitate components.The two levitate components currently in the game have been replacedwith one. This new levitate ability works just like the old songcomponents. You and your group mates within 40m will be levitated. Thiseffect will for 30 minutes.. Any songs that contain the old levitatecomponent will need to be altered before they work properly again.
- Bard - Bard DoTs will now get amplified by intelligence.
-Bard - There have been a number of changes to bard invisibility songprocessing. The bard can no longer sing a song that has *both* aharmful effect (dot, debuff) *and* an invis component; there is aningame message to let you know when you try to sing such a song. Inaddition, when a bard sings a song with a harmful component and thentargets another player, those 2 players will enter a pvp contest (theywill show on each other's aggro display and enter combat). Thesechanges were made to improve pvp combat conditions, and also to fix theprevious bard exploits where they could damage players while invis, andalso become invis while in pvp combat.
- Bard - Fix for bard songs restarting if the bard is hit and has a damage shield on.
- Bard - Fix for bard songs hitting low level players who were immune to other forms of PVP damage.
- Blood Mage - Life Graft now has a 25m range.
- Blood Mage - Accelerated Regeneration now states the increments at which it regenerates health.
- Blood Mage - Inspirit now has a 25 meter range.
-Blood Mage - Lowered the amount of END used in Physical Transmutationto 99%. This is a temporary fix for this ability moving you out of yourcurrent Focus into Unfocused.
- Cleric - Divine Aura (preservationaffinity) will now root the caster in place for the duration of theinvulnerability. This effects can still be cancelled at any time.
-Cleric - Divine Barrier now lasts 10 seconds, down from 18. Its refreshhas been lowered to compensate. It is now 8 minutes, down from 10.
- Disciple - You now have 2 forms. Immortal Jade Dragon and Celestial Tiger will now be available at level 10.
- Dread Knight - Inflame now adds a large amount of hate instead of forcing target.
- Monk - Canceling Aum Liat will now remove the runspeed portion of the buff.
-Monk - Deadly Adder Hand now deals damage over time in addition to thefinal damage of the ability. The final damage has been increasedsignificantly.
- Monk - Immortal Crane Form will now properly stack with Aum Ti.
-Monk - Ignore Pain has changed. It now heals based on a percentage ofyour base hitpoints. A percentage based rune has also been added. Thiswill absorb a portion of incoming damage for 20 seconds. Both the healand the rune amounts increase with level.
- Monk - Secret of Ice and Secret of Fire now last until canceled or removed.
- Monk - Secret of Celerity now has a 5 minute reuse timer
- Monk - Secret of Celerity is now called Fists of Celerity. It is no longer affected by the 'one secret' limit.
- Monk - Slightly altered the progression of Secret of Ice. A new version is available at level 50 from your trainer.
- Monk - Deadly Adder Hand now shows the correct damage in the display description.
- Monk - Increased the damage added by Iron Fists.
- Monk - Storm Stride now costs 10 endurance rather than 1 Jin
- Monk - Magnificent Drunken Stagger now has a refresh of 5 minutes and costs 2 Jin.
-Monk - Reed in the Wind is now available at level 16 and itsprogression has been altered. Upgrades are available at level 30 and 44.
-Monk - Reed in the Wind now costs 10 endurance, has a refresh of 60seconds and increases dodge chance by a larger amount. It no longerincurs global recovery.
- Monk - Deadly Adder Hand now deals damageover time in addition to the final damage of the ability. The finaldamage has been increased significantly.
- Monk - Find the Centernow increases dodge instead of block. The refresh has been lowered to 5minutes and the Jin cost has been reduced to 2.
- Monk - Wave handin Clouds now has a refresh of 4 minutes and costs 4 jin. The damagehas also been increased and is affected by strength.
- Monk -Diamond Body is now an innate ability earned at level 30 for HarmoniousBody Monks. It now increases armor class by 30% and constantly purgespoisons, diseases and curses. Looks like Harm Monks have been eatingtheir green veggies.
- Monk - Dragon Stance and Harmonious Body Stance will no longer wear off after an hour.
- Necromancer - Probable fix for the necromancer pet bug (where it would get stuck attacking a corpse).
- Paladin - 'Shield of' type abilities will now become inactive when not wielding a shield.
- Psionicist - Temporal Shift is now increased by Phrenic Rage.
- Psionicist - Compression Sphere VIII now works with Thought Thief
- Psionicist - Suggestion III no longer has diminishing returns.
- Ranger - Increased the count for fletched arrows to 50 per assembly.
- Ranger - Added new ability line Raven Talisman at level 8. Please visit your trainers.
-Ranger - Replaced the Ranger learned ability (was Hawk Talisman) with anew ability line, Respite. Respite reduces all energy costs to 0 for 8seconds and is an energy HoT over 8 seconds. Has a 5 minute refreshtimer and is self only
- Ranger - Moved Hawk Talisman to level 32 and added it to trainers.
- Ranger - Increases ranged attack damage by 20%
- Ranger - Smockleaf now lowers energy costs by 10%
- Rogue - Flee now has a 10 minute refresh time
- Rogue - Smoke Trick now has a 25m range.
- Rogue - Imperil's diminishing returns have been reduced to 30 seconds and the energy cost has been reduced.
-Rogue - Imperil now grants a 100% bonus to criticals on the affectedtarget. The duration is now 8 seconds and the refresh timer is 60seconds, down from 2 minutes

- Rogue - Removed the refresh timer from Ruin and increased the cost to 15 endurance.
-Rogue - Ruin is no longer a finishing attack and its properties havechanged. It now lowers damage by 10-14%, accuracy by 12-16Oh % and nolonger incurs global recovery. It also requires that you be stalkingyour target in order to execute.
- Rogue - Ravage now always stuns for 3 seconds and no longer incurs global recovery.
-Rogue - Clout is no longer a finishing Attack - It can be used at anytime. It now costs 10 endurance and does not incur global recovery. Thediminishing returns on this attack have been lowered to 30 seconds.
- Rogue - Death Whirl no longer has a refresh timer.
- Rogue - Lethal Strikes now stacks with Stalk.
- Rogue - Imperil now has a 36 second 100% diminishing returns timer. This timer is represented by a buff on the NPC.
-Shaman - Hamstring now has a 1 minute 100% diminishing return timer.This timer is represented by a Hamstring Immunity on the NPC that willbe easily identified.
- Shaman - Ritual of Scarring no longer shares the same refresh time as Ritual of Sacrifice.
- Shaman - Ritual of Sacrifice IV now shares the same refresh timer as the rest of the RoS line.
- Sorcerer - Sanctuary abilities are now defesnive targted with an AE radius of 5m.
- Sorcerer - Removed the resistance buff portion of the sanctuary spells.
- Sorcerer - Your sanctuary abilities are no longer tied to the same refresh.
-Sorcerer - Seradon's Falling Star has been updated. It now has a 1second cast time, increased mana cost, increased damage and 60 secondrefresh time.
- Sorcerer - Adjusted the time between counterspellsfrom Chromatic Barrier so that it will reflect spells 2 times asquickly as before. CB I now reflects every 60 seconds and CBII reflectsevery 30 seconds.
- Warrior - Shout of Defiance no longer enrages your offensive target. It now increases your damage for a short time.
-Warrior - Reduced the hate bonus on your defensive for to 20%. This isbeing done to compensate for the dmg increase that has been given toedefensive form.
- Warrior - Coercion no longer incurs global recovery
- Warrior - Stinging Cut should now chain to Blade's Bite in all circumstances.
-Warrior - Cleave now has 36 second 100% diminishing returns. This meansthat it cannot be used on the same target more than once every 60seconds.
- Warrior - Increased the damage of Overwhelm and lowered its refresh to 20 seconds, down from 45
- Warrior - Cleave is now available at level 40.
- Warrior - Destroy is now available at level 38.
- Warrior - Enrage is now available at level 28.
-Warrior - Charge II is now simply Charge. It increases movement speedby 75% and critical hit chance by 20% for 1 attack or 10 seconds. Canonly be used outside of combat. It can now be trained at level 12.
-Warrior - Raise Defenses II is now called Barrage. It increases spelland ranged attack damage by 20% for 8 seconds and can be used once perminute. It affects your entire party. it can be trained at level 24.
-Warrior - Raise Defenses I is now simply Raises Defenses. It increasesmitigation of all forms of damage (spell, melee) by 30% for 8 secondsand can be used once per minute. It affects your entire group.
- Warrior - Press The Attack II is now simply Press The Attack. It now affects your entire party.
-Warrior - Orders have now replaced some of your older group commands.Orders are buffs that have long durations and affect your entire party.You may only have one Order active at one time.
- Warrior - Most commands now affect the entire party instead of an individual. Withdrawal still only affects one target.
-Warrior - Charge I is now called Volley. It increases spell and rangedattack crit chance and damage by 5%. It can be trained at level 16.
- Warrior - Press The Attack I is now called Advance and Attack. It grants a 4% critical hit bonus for melee attacks.
- Warrior - Form a Line II has been removed from the game.
-Warrior - Grim Determination has been altered. The effect not dependson what form you are in when you use it. In offensive form it willreturn energy for 6 attacks (you attacking your target). In defensiveform you will benefit from a small heal for 6 hits (you getting hit).
-Warrior - Disarm is no longer restricted to humanoid targets. It nowreduces damage by 12% for 15 seconds and increases your targets hate by20%.
- Warrior - Warder's Bulwark has been altered. It now increasesmitigation by 6 to 8% and block chance by 12 to 14%. A new version ofthe attack has been added at level 50 and WB II is now trainable atlevel 40. Due to the changes in scaling and levels WB I and WB II nowdeal slightly less damage, while WB III deals more damage than waspreviously possible with this ability line.
- Warrior - WeaponShield has been added. This is a passive ability that is activewhenever you are in defensive stance and dual wielding. Theeffectiveness of this ability increases every 10 levels. Please note:You must be dual wielding to gain this buff. While in defensive it willbecome active when 2 one handed weapons are wielded and will becomeinactive if one of those weapons is replaced by something other than analternate one handed weapon.
- Warrior - Shield of Carnage andShield of Maiming have been removed from your ability line up. Theireffects have been moved to other abilities.
- Warrior - Increasedthe duration of the stun portion of Stunning Bellow, from 7 to 14seconds, depending on level. It now breaks in 2 to 3 hits depending onlevel.
- Warrior - Cleave has changed slightly. It now deals damageover time and causes all melee attacks against your opponent to becritical hits for 3 seconds. It no longer incurs global recovery. Itstill lowers mitigation by 30% for 60 seconds. It is also now availableat level 38. It is also now available at level 40 and has a 36 seconddiminishing returns timer.
- Warrior - Defenseless has been replacedby Cleave. Cleave is now a single step, primary finishing attackavailable starting at level 40.
- Warrior - Taunting Strike is nowcalled Sunder. Sunder is an attack similar to Brutal Strike in damage,but it hits your target and one additional nearby target. You must bedual wielding to use Sunder.
- Warrior - Shield Bash is now calledPommel Smash. It has the same exact properties as shield bash exceptthat it requires you to be dual wielding.
- Warrior - Commander'sPresence is a new passive ability that is earned at level 1. Itprovides a constant buff to your group. This effectively replacesBattle Frenzy in your lineup.
- Warrior - Battle Frenzy has beenremoved from the game. This has been replaced by a new passive abilitycalled Commander's Presence.


CRAFTING
- Harvesting now shows skill required to harvest
-The harvesting UI has been changed to include some additional data. Itwill now show the name of the harvesting node in the window with thepercent left on the harvesting timer.  The harvested resources will nowalso show their names.  Rares harvested will now show in a windowattached to the main harvesting window instead of the upper left handcorner.  In addition, if an additional item is harvested, theharvesting window will remain open.  This will also allow you to seeadditional items that would not normally displayed that are awarded atthe very end of harvesting.
- Special crafting recipes are nowtaught by masterwork crafters Tanvu, Ahgram, and New Targonor. Bewarned they want something in return.
- You can now train the amateur tier ammo case at a standard trainer
- Resonance dusts of Agony should now drop correctly from decons
-Majordomo Djarn, High Lord Obsiderru, and Karujin Gulgrethor have allfound some time to take up crafting. I wonder what new goodies theymight drop.
- All non enhanced elemental bows now add energy and constitution on top of their standard mods.
-All tables for deconstruction have been restructured so that all dustshave an equal chance of dropping. This will help get the more desirabledusts into players hands and hopefully reduce the cost of these items.Tables for resources have also been restructured making resource decona little more rewarding.
- There is now a chance to fail duringdeconstruction. This will result in a failure item that can be soldregain some lost value.
- Resonance items that add abilities have had their descriptions modified to better explain what effect is being added.
- Removed redundant ability descriptions from upgraded crafting gear
- Fixed issue that caused gem drops on harvesting nodes to be much rare then desired.
- The temporary required level display has been removed from crafted bow descriptions.
- A number of higher level outfitter recipes were reporting the incorrect utility in the description. This has been fixed.
- Isle of Martin should now give proper crafting faction.
- Isle of Martin mailbox and vendors have been relocated to the crafting area.

- Items will now display their Item Level when appropriate.
-Sniper's Delight now adds to all accuracy instead of just ranged, adds75 energy, and adds to all damage instead of just ranged.
- All ammo cases should now accept thrown weapons as ammo
- Sniper's pleasure now adds to all accuracy instead of just ranged and adds 50 energy.
- Sniper's Perfection now adds to all accuracy and damage instead of just ranged and adds 100 energy.

- Food Source - Collecting the fallen aukfruit will no longer ding 3 times, and now opens a loot window.
-Meat for the Crew: The Lion Hunters will now drop meat as multi-loot.NOTE: If you are already on the quest, you will need to abandon andretake the quest. This will not remove what meat you already have.
-Ratatouille: The lasher rats will now drop their whiskers again so thatdelicious meal can be made. NOTE: If you are already on this quest, youwill need to abandon and retake it. This will not remove any whiskersyou already have.
- URT Quest: Inside Knowledge - If you missedSpirit of Wenden after finding the clues, he will now spawn for youagain when you enter his room. NOTE: If you complete this quest, hewill continue to spawn for you if you need to receive the next questfrom him.
- URT Quest: Gathering the Ingredients has been adjusted.You will now be required to gather more than one of each essence.However, Lord Stormwynd's minions will now drop their essences at amore rapid rate and the drops are now multi-loot. NOTE: If you arecurrently on the quest, you will need to abandon it and accept it againfrom the Spirit of Wenden.
- URT Quest: Gathering the Ingredients -You will now be able to complete the quest if you accidentally hit theCancel button. Leave the beacon room, walk back in and the quest dialogwill pop up again.
- URT Quest: Somehow Fooled - This quest will nowpop up again for you if you accidentally hit the Decline button. Leavethe beacon room, walk back in and the quest dialog will pop up again.

CODING
GENERAL
-Fixed a bug with endurance regen from items. Unlike energy and hitpoint regen, endurance regen from items was unintentionally occurringevery second.
- There have been some changes to pvp antigroupbehavior. Pressing escape will no longer drop the player out of pvpcombat. The new requirements to remove yourself from pvp combat is tomove farther than 50m away from every player that is aggro on you (theyare on your encounter display).
- Corpses will now decay while the player is online.
- Removed the perception check for the target of target.
-The LFG and LFM flags now default to off every time you log in, and theLFG flag will also be turned off when you get a group. Please rememberto turn your LFG (looking for group) flag on when looking for a group,and group leaders should turn on their LFM (looking for more) flag whenthey want more group members to join them.
- Offensive target buffs& debuffs have been separated into 2 new windows.There is now anoption to select which offensive target windows you want to see.  Thiscan be accessed by going to the Main Menu, then to Settings, thenclicking the Customize Windows button at the bottom of the SettingsScreen. There is a vertical and a horizontal version for each of thewindows. There will be more options coming soon to this window to allowyou more customization of your interface.
- The player's particle throttle sliders will now save and load their previous settings properly.
-Fix for some occurrences of NPC "civil wars". Some NPC abilities werecausing other NPCs to think they were healing the player, causing acivil war.
- Reactions are no longer canceled by hitting othernon-reactions, some bugs with defensive reactions where the icon wouldbe lit or unlit at the wrong time also fixed. Reactions that are notshared across forms when switching forms will be cancelled, but sharedreactions will remain.
- Ships will now despawn after 24 hours if no one is on them and their owner isn't in the chunk.
-You can now filter out adventuring, crafting, or diplomacy quests inthe quest tracker using three new options. These new options can befound with the other quest tracker options by opening the questlog/journal and clicking the "Auto-Track" button.
- Increased the number of quests you can have from 20 to 50.
-Items you receive will now prefer to go into any specialized equippedcontainers that they fit in, provided there are empty slots. So, if youbuy crafting utilities they will go into your utility bag, arrows willgo into your quiver, and things you harvest will go into specialharvesting packs, etc... Note that tools are excepted from this, andthey will just go into your general inventory as normal due to BOEissues that would arise if they automatically went into your toolbelts.
-Fixed a bug that was causing shadows to draw in multiple passes. Thiswas causing a substantial performance hit in high quality mode.
-Sped up detailed shadows by not redrawing their texture when theshadow-casting character isn't viewable. Instead, the shadows willremain in the shape of the last-animated character's position.
-Added a new optimization setting "Character Occlusion". EnablingCharacter Occlusion will speed up scenes where there are manycharacters around the player, but few are visible (such as if there isa wall between your view and a group of characters). If no part of acharacter draws on your screen, it will stop animating, it will stopupdating its shadows, and it will stop rendering.
- The length of the guild description / recruitment notes has been doubled due to popular request.
- Using a Mez may no longer result in a proc.
-Diplomacy and Crafting quests now show "(Diplomacy)" or "(Crafting)"after the name of the quest to distinguish them from adventuringquests. Longer term we would like to do this with different icons, butthis was a quick way to help players see the difference in the shortterm.
- Stun effects on NPC's now set ability recovery timer as though it was a successful cast

SERVER
- Fixed a social server crash
-Added dozens of server-side optimizations to reduce lag, a great dealof which is due to the help of our players on the Test Server! 

UI
-Important for Custom UI's. VGUIHarvestingBonusYield.xml has beenremoved and its contents have been moved into VGUIHarvestingDisplay.xml.
- There is a new option in the settings window to toggle Vertical Sync on/off
- There is a new option in the settings window to toggle Triple Buffering on/off.
-The location/quest tracking indicator on the compass no longercompletely disappears when you are facing away from the location it istrying to guide you to.  It now just stops at the left or right edge tolet you know which way you should turn to find it.
- The travel journal location tracking indicator on the compass now blinks when you select a new location.
- Implemented UI optimizations that should speed up performance on the UI all around.
- Implemented UI window for the /claim command.

1. Ksaravi Gulch
The low to high teens adventuring area of Ksaravi Gulch in Qalia has been revamped. It now features new group and solo content, with many quest lines for either type of player as well as an enhanced storyline, additional items and the chance to fly into battle on an elite back wyvern mount.
3 all new solo quest lines offering 20 new quests
12 group quests in an exciting new group quest line
Fly into battle on an elite black wyvern
All-new rewards, like Coronarian Gloves and Ice Ember poison

2. Guild Hall Trophies
The Guild Hall Trophy item can now be placed in a house or any Guild Headquarters.  The buff from the trophy will be shared by all guild members that are online. There will be three trophies to choose from (one for each of Vanguards icon characters).
The Guild Hall Trophy can only be picked up by the person who placed it.
3. Player Housing / Guild Housing
All player housing areas should have a crafting center within one chunk's distance. You will find crafting trainers, vendors, taskmasters, and stations. In addition, a few select areas (including all of the islands) have had flying mount renters added.

In addition to that, Guildhall adventuring drops should now be much easier to obtain. Mnalus Fungus will now rarely drop off most mobs in Lair of the Mnalus. Mummy Dust will now rarely drop off most mobs in Nusibe. Fiend Blood will now rarely drop off most mobs in Rhaz Inkur.


4. Optimizations / Bug Fixes
Fixing bugs and optimizing the game have been a big priority for us. Weve put in fixes for over a dozen high-profile client crash fixes as well as hundreds of bugs. Weve fixed a major memory leak and even made some sound optimizations. On the whole, a lot of players performance should improve with this patch.

With this patch, were also laying the groundwork to start implementing optimized NPC models. You should see them start showing up in the near future (likely in Qalia first).

5. Spam Filter
Ask, and you shall receive!  It's been in the works for quite some time, but Game Update 3 unleashes the code that should help eliminate a lot of the spam you may receive in-game.  The code works similarly to those featured in other SOE games, in that it automatically filters messages flagged as spam, and reports them to Customer Service.

6. Patch Notes

GAMEPLAY
GENERAL

- You can now request that your character be copied (not moved, just copied) to the test server by using the new /copycharacter command. This command toggles your request to be copied on and off. Please type, "/help copycharacter" for more info.
- You may no longer hit yourself with targeted AEs.
- The LFG flag will now default to off if not found in the settings file.
- Brokers - The maximum items that a player may have on the broker has been increased to 15. This change was made due to player feedback. Rejoice!
- To avoid conflict with a diplomacy title, the Squire title given by the Title Commissioner has been replaced with Attendant.
-You can now swap items in your bank, even if the bank is full.
- Players' Locations for Renton Keep are now categorized correctly.
- Items that are not stacks no longer bring up the stack "Split" window, they just get dragged as if you didn't hold down a key to try to split them.
- Holding down the CTRL key and dragging on a stacked item will now pull one off the stack instead of bringing up the "Split" window. You can still bring up the "Split" window to split a stack of items, but you now hold down the SHIFT key while dragging the item instead of CTRL like you used to. This was changed to make it a bit more consistent with how other games work, so it is a bit less confusing to new players.
- Hobgoblin eyes, claws, and belts are no longer considered valuable on Telon. However, hobgoblin trinkets, pants, and chests can be sold for a decent price.
- The edit box for the various "Split" windows should now work properly.
- Right-clicking and holding (dragging) in the main/text area of the chat window will no longer drag the chat window, it will allow mouselook instead. This should greatly reduce accidentally dragging the chat window when you really just wanted to start mouselooking.
- You should now get a feather fall type buff applied to you anytime you get dismounted from a flying mount, unless you are only a few meters from the ground when you get dismounted. This includes crashing while on a flying mount, so the days of falling to your death because you lost your flying mount should be over.
- All player housing areas should have a crafting center within one chunk's distance. You will find crafting trainers, vendors, taskmasters, and stations. In addition, a few select areas (including all of the islands) have had flying mount renters added.
- Some NPCs have learned how to see through stealth, beware! Please also note that this change does not affect stalking.

ADVENTURING
- Detaunts - Increased flat detaunts across the board by 100%.
- Healers - Healing Dispersion has been adjusted. The base heal has been reduced significantly bringing it more in line with its intended values.
- Bard - Fix for Bard songs remaining on all players even after the Bard leaves the group
- Bard - Fasant's Segue of Sundering now reduced target strength by 13.
- Bard - Fasant's Hymn of Frailty now reduces target strength by 6-8.
- Bard - Cirel's Healing Harmony now costs 6 energy per second and caps out at 7 points of healing.
- Bard - Cirel's Tranquil Tune now cost 5 energy per second and restores 25-28 hit points and 15-18 energy.
- Bard - Cirel's Rhythm of Renewal now costs 5 energy per second and caps out at 40 points of healing.
- Bard Cirels Phrase of Renewal now costs 8 energy per second and caps out at 10 points of healing.
- Bard - Lowered the refresh of Lightning Kisses the Ground to 30 seconds, to better match the rest of the attack chain
- Bard - Shatter the Mountain now only causes critical vulnerability for 1 second.
- Bard - Bards may no longer start a song while invulnerable.
- Bard - Bard songs will now only display the effects that are active on a given target.
- Bard - Fix for bards being able to DoT players who had the 30 second PvP immunity upon death.
- Bard - AE components, such as Cirel's Tranquil Tune, will now affect only nearby raid members. This change greatly improves performance for everyone.
- Blood Mage - Increased the energy cost of Entwining Vein
- Blood Mage - Increased the range of Cerebral Graft to 25m.

- Shaman - The buffs gained from your patron forms will no longer stop working after being in the form for an hour.
- Shaman - Fiery Quills now does the correct amount of damage at all levels.
- Shaman - Wings of Hayatet III will now stack properly when bonded to Nag-Suul.
- Shaman - Attendant of Rakurr now attacks every 2 seconds instead of every 1 second. Damage and aggro generation have been increased to match the new, slower attack speed.
- Shaman - Scent of Blood is now instant cast. This should alleviate any activation issues.
- Shaman - Tearing Claw, Vicious Bite and Hamstring will now open Fist of the Earth on a critical hit.
- Shaman - Maim will now deal double damage against an opponent suffering from the flesh rend weakness.
- Shaman - Avatar of the Phoenix now displays the correct healing amount.
- Shaman - Bloody Fang now removes the Bitten weakness to maintain consistency with the Weakness System.
- Shaman - Purging Flames should now function correctly
- Warrior - Made your "Foeman" abilities now usable outside of combat, similar to the way the Dread Knights Bleak Foeman functions.
- Warrior - The block % of your "Foeman" abilities have been increased to the level of the Dread Knights.

CRAFTING
- A few obsolete items have been removed from the outpost crafting merchant list.
- The outpost in Varryn Dunes should now give rest experience.
- Mortar and mortar components are now set to Grade A. This should solve any assembly issues.
- Qalian and Thestran guild house windows are now available for purchase on merchants.
- The tutorial quest rewards "improved tools" have had their levels lowered so they can be equipped by crafters at Level 2.
- Fixed lots of typos in crafting actions, recipes and crafting quests.
- Actions that say "Treatment" now actually use treatment.
- A bug with the Dawn's Sign quest recipes for artificers has been fixed.
- Many merchants in housing plot areas now offer banking services.
- All community crafting areas near house plots will grant faction bonuses upon successful work order completion much like other outposts.
- An error with faction gain bonuses for work orders at Grade C has been corrected.
- You can now properly turn in the finished products for the gilded coffers work order.
- Focusing Crystals of Countering descriptions have been fixed. Stone Support was actually supposed to say metal grip

DIPLOMACY
- The Civic Diplomacy radius of Leth Nurae has been expanded to encompass a number of NPCs that were available for Civic parleys but not able to manipulate the levers. These NPCs are: Celestial Lion Orilana, Votary Unalu, Starseer Darniel, Silver Crescent Belaris, Adept Tiyun, Apprentice Anderion, Adept Theric, Adept Silareth, Adept Eldamar, Adept Sulhin.
- The Informant loot tables for tier 1 Blackmail (all types) and tier 2 Blackmail hearsay have been improved to drop multiples of the same loot item rather than 1.
- All four tiers of Informants and all 3 types of Information now have at least some chance of dropping one or more baubles of appropriate tier to the tier of the information (tier 1 information = prestigious baubles, tier 2 = prestigious and shiny prestigious baubles, tier 3 = shiny and radiant prestigious baubles, tier 4 = radiant prestigious baubles). Drop rates vary based on type of information, continent, and the quality of the information.
- It is now possible to purchase House Thistle Fencing Gloves. Jam will no longer withhold his goods!
- Bartenders across Telon now have the four new newbie line comments in their loot tables. Only tier 1 and 2 parleys will yield these comments, with tier 1 having the highest drop rate. Unlike the cards in the newbie line, these cards are not soulbound and thus tradable.
- Diplomacy expendables (kini verse, phlactery of maroj, Macken's Wisdom, etc.) are no longer BOE.
- A number of Hai Fang Su Li's rare tier 4 Diplomacy clothing are now correctly named after that aspect of Gloriann from the incorrect name of Beiganan.
- A number of Sihari's rare tier 4 Diplomacy clothing are now correctly named after the storm goddess. Boy was she mad that the trade god Beiganan had his name on her stuff!
- Newbie lines have new comment cards placed on them so you will no longer be able to select a comment card you cannot use. These are identical clones of existing newbie comments you receive based on your Adventuring class.
- Bartenders now give out a variety of baubles depending on tier, including the new Radiant and Exquisite Prestigious baubles.
- In the Ca'ial Brael writ "Cut Down the Ra'Jin" you should no longer be able to use the Yukionna Rod on the Yukionna until the proper time, and you cannot talk to Governor Jalixfin or General Zewg until you have used the rod on the Yukionna.
- Bartender parleys have had their prereqs altered to make them display more logically and to prevent overlap.
- Diplomacy "Land" objects (acquired from Noble Houses in New Targonor) now fit in Diplomacy containers.
- All Diplomacy Neck items now will fit in Diplomacy containers (like the valise or hold-all).
- Drop rates for Evidence in high in-tier Civic parleys have been increased by 40% above it's original drop rate.
- NPCs in Civic Diplomacy should no longer belong to overlapping loot tables for Information, especially NPCs of levels 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50.
- Tier 4 Diplomacy Information turn-ins now can give "Radiant Prestigious Baubles." These baubles, when right-clicked, give 10 Prestige faction for the area and devolve into a Shiny Prestigious Bauble.
- Some New Targonor Diplomacy House quests have had their rewards altered to account for the new Bursars for each House.
- The shiny prestigious bauble requirement in all 3 Diplomacy guild hall quests has been reduced from 75 to 50.
- House Bursars will no longer attempt to hawk titles to players, which they have already purchased.
- Rank Dealings in Veskal's Exchange no longer requires Merchant Presence to complete. Ramoak the vendor has taken holy vows and is now a Clergy.
- The missing nine NPC race-specific Diplomacy cards have been found and stuck to the proper NPCs. Let the hunt continue!
- Diplomacy cards now drop from appropriate NPCs up to NPC level 60.
- Diplomacy cards will no longer drop from level 1-4 NPCs throughout Telon.
- Bartender parleys across Telon now have a small chance of dropping Adventuring loot, including rare Adventuring items. These items are drawn from the common World Loot tables.
- Tier 2 Diplomacy valises (28 slot) are now available from Chancellor Dagnol Granitefist in Bordinar's Cleft, Chancellor Cirfalin Onios in Leth Nurae, and His Elegance, Raoul in New Targonor for 250 of the appropriate type of Prestige faction.
- NPC racial cards attached to sentient mobs now drop at a rate dependent on the number of dots on the mob.
- By overwhelming popular request, level 50 Bartender Parleys have been added to all Bartenders.
- Level 30 Bartender parleys are now correctly set to level 30 again.
- Level 20 Qalian Bartender parleys are now correctly set to level 20 again.
- Bartender loot tables have been corrected to prevent overlap (and the giving of rewards below your tier!)
- Kojani Bartender parleys now will correctly give out Prestige Faction again.
- Level 5-60 Ghosts and Cartheon Zombies (upright zombies) no longer drop "Words of the Dead" - they drop a new card instead.
- NPCs of the zombie race from levels 35-60 drop Words of the Dead - lower level zombies no longer do. This does not apply to upright zombies from Cartheon.

ITEMS
- Eye of Zukayr is no longer deconstructable.
- Mask of the Feral Warrior is now Bind on Equip and no longer Sellable
- The Sun Strike of Vol Anari and the Moon Strike of Vol Tuniel have had their statistics increased. The ultra rare version has received a minor upgrade while the legendary versions have received a larger upgrade. All of these items may now stack up to 200 per lot.

WORLD POPULATION
- Flordiel - Issues with various armor quest drops in Flordiel have been addressed.
- Ichtaka - Issues with various armor quest drops in Ichtaka have been addressed.
- Mekalia - The Saddlebag and horseshoe vendors in Skyside Bunker sold their wares to Olinard, who now sells all Horse Accessories in Mekalia. The Constables have been informed of the update.
- Mekalia - The Regular, Expert, and Master horse vendors have moved from Skyside Bunker into Mekalia to escape General Ulaben's agent. The Constables have been updated with their new locations.
- NPCs - High Justice Sadantel Seniaqo has returned to the Lucent Outpost and is once again recruiting high level adventurers to fight against the Tehatamani Empire.
- Quest: Controlling the Situation - The amount of dusts required has been increased, and the drop rate has been increased as well.
- Vsurog Moor - Tishra should now reset properly after being killed.
- Vsurog Moor - Issues with various armor quest drops in Vsurog Moor have been addressed.
- Ksaravi Gulch - In the war between Khal and the Ksaravi, it has become apparent to both sides that force of arms is not enough.  To this end, the Ksaravi have turned to the creation of vile magical toxins and diseases with which they plan to afflict the good people of Khal. In the aftermath, they intend to claim the city as their own.  In order to put an end to the Ksaravi taint, you will need the aid of Curate Sabha and Brumdul Svat, priests of the White Coronaria, a sect that worships Sahari Jeddai, the Qaliathari aspect of Gloriann.  Fighting into the gulch is not an easy affair, even with the magic of the White Coronaria, and time is of the essence.  Yet, hope rides on black wings, and Captain Venir Isthir of the elite Black Wyvern Riders offers an answer.  By working with the Black Wyvern Riders, you can gain access to a temporary wyvern mount that will allow you to conduct your swift raids in the Ksaravi Gulch and put the Ksaravi back on the defensive.
 - 3 all new solo quest lines offering 20 new quests
 - 12 group quests in an exciting new group quest line
 - Fly into battle on an elite black wyvern
 - All-new rewards, like Coronarian Gloves and Ice Ember poison

CODING
GENERAL
- Fix for a memory leak that had been affecting many players
- Guilds are now able to mark themselves as recruiting new members, add a description of their guild, and mark members as guild recruiters. Players that want to find a guild to join can look through the list of guilds that are recruiting in the new "Guilds LFM" tab within the "Guild" tab of the social window. Clicking on a guild in the list to the left of this new tab will show the selected guild's description and a list of recruiters from that guild which can be contacted for more info about the guild.
- PVP: New resist system for detrimental utility spells (Roots, stuns, snares, mezzes, debuffs)! Resistances matter much more now, and utility spells will be resisted more frequently, especially against players with high resists. Damaging spells still use the old resist formulas.
- Fix for a bug that enabled some players to level to 51
- Fix for another crash issue
- Several performance enhancements have been added to increase frame rate in crowded areas
- Fixed an issue where you could go over the 30plat cap when trading if you had money in the bank resulting in losing money the next time you looted something.
- Fixed an issue with the Last Online time being incorrect on the friends window.
- You can no longer receive group or brotherhood invites from someone on your ignore list.
- You will now see loot links when you loot an item, and when a loot master gives loot to another player.
- You will now always see when a group member loots an item even if they are far away.
- Fixed some issues with NPC hate lists that would cause a person who had lower health to generate large amounts of hate.
- Made it so for every meter a player is away from a target, they will now generate % less hate up to 20% for all damage done.
- You will no longer be able to /giveplayerloot someone an item from a raid NPC who wasnt part of the raid battle.
- You can now swap equipped items with items in your inventory (or bags) even if your inventory and bags are full, provided it is a one for one swap and doesn't require removing two equipped items (such as swapping out sword and shield for a two handed weapon).
- Diplomacy cards should no longer always show as unusable when in your inventory.
- Made further adjustments to help with the display of invisible items in guild halls and the houses near guild halls.
- You can now right click on a stack of items that have charges without expending the charges of the entire stack, so items like Imperial Darkbrew can now be safely used while stacked.
- Thrown items now display class requirements/restrictions in the item info tooltip.
- Quests that require less than a full stack of items to complete will now only take the exact number they need, instead of taking an entire stack.  So a quest that needed 35 of a certain item, will no longer take 40 if you have two stacks of 20.
- While testing raid functionality on the test server, several optimization issues were discovered and corrected for both the servers and client.  From UI optimizations on the client to server processing of large groups of combatants, there should be a noticeable performance improvement in all aspects of the game

CLIENT
- When placing a crafting or harvesting tool in a toolbelt it will now bring up the Bind of Equip confirm when necessary.

ENGINE
- There is a new setting in the Audio tab called Distance. This value is used to calculate how far away a sound will play. If you have a single-core CPU you may see some performance increase from lowering this value. If you desire to hear sounds from further away, you can raise this value, though it may effect performance.

GRAPHICS
- Added a new slider bar to toggle the scale of the scrolling combat text.
- The particle throttle sliders in the Settings panel will now properly throttle the particle effects correctly by type. Sliding these down will process fewer particles, and yield some performance gains, especially in combat - and even more so in raids where you have 12-18 players playing particle effects.

SERVER
- Guild Trophy buffs are now in. The guild trophy buff will only be applied to the character if the items is placed in a guild headquarters.
- NPCs will no longer open locked doors. This fixes an exploit where you could get an aggro NPC on the far side of a locked door to open the door for you when it moved to attack you.
- NPC / Resource / Corpse interaction ranges should now be more correct and scale-independent (so it's no longer difficult to be within the ability range of giants)!
